i would never ask a friend to bake me homemade bread because it's a pretty big favor. but i really love to have it around, and don't have the patience to make it for myself. so the time bank is a great way for me to feel good about asking for treats like fresh, homemade, whole wheat bread because i know the other person will get something in return.
